CONVENTION
CENTER
Since it opened in 1982, the Cartagena de Indias Convention Center has been key player in the city's economic development strategy and has served as platform to attract businesses and professionals from all corners of the globe. Since then, it continues to be one of the country's most iconic venues and proposed host for the Conference on AIDS and HIV Science.

Nestled at the heart of Cartagena's historic district on a magical waterfront location, the Cartagena de Indias Convention Center offers more than 26,000 square meters (280,000 square feet) of versatile quality facilities spread across 3 levels, open spaces, with alternative networking and coworking areas within the venue. As privately-managed venue with the highest international standards, it also provides adequate seating for small and large meetings, together with plenty of breakout rooms for simultaneous sessions.

The venue has AIPC's Gold Level Quality Standards Certification and is still the only center to date in Latin America with this unique accomplishment. In 2016, investments exceeding $5 million US dollars were made to increase the CCCI’s venue’s competitiveness which focused on the implementation of new technology in line with current market demands and energy efficient systems for environmental protection.

Last but not least, the Cartagena de Indias Convention Center became in 2018 the first convention center in South America with a solar rooftop. This recent project confirms its commitment to promoting the meetings industry by managing a sustainable facility, maintaining a high level of environmental awareness, and positively impacting the city where it operates.
“The results we have achieved next to CCCI have been very successful, thanks to its infrastructure, complementary services, the warmth of its staff and being recognized as a meeting point for business and major events.”
— BRUCE MAR MASTER,
President ANDI
“For more than 10 years, the Colombian Association of Radiology has held its annual congress at
